All the cozy flavor of a classic pecan pie — rolled into bite-sized bliss. These Pecan Pie Truffles are buttery, nutty, and dipped in smooth chocolate for that perfect holiday bite. Every piece melts between the sweetness of maple, a hint of vanilla, and that toasted pecan crunch. They’re rich, elegant, and so easy to make — no oven, no stress, just pure dessert magic.
Ingredients
• 1 1/2 cups pecans, finely chopped or ground
• 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
• 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
• 1/4 cup maple syrup or corn syrup
• 2 tablespoons melted butter
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, optional
• 1 ~8 oz chocolate, melted for dipping, dark, milk, or white
• sea salt, or chopped pecans, for garnish
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix chopped pecans, graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
Stir in melted butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix until the dough is sticky and holds together when squeezed. If it’s too crumbly, add 1–2 tsp more syrup. If too wet, add a spoonful of crumbs.
Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined tray. Freeze or refrigerate for 20–30 minutes, until firm.
Melt chocolate in a double boiler or microwave (15-second bursts, stirring in between).
Dip each chilled truffle in chocolate and place back on parchment. Garnish immediately if desired.
Let set at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate is firm, about 15 minutes.
