Bright, tangy, and packed with herby freshness, this Ranch Dressing comes together in just 15 minutes! Perfect for salads, dips, or drizzling over roasted veggies—quick, easy, and absolutely delicious.

Prep Time: 10 mins | Total Time: 15 mins | Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 1 cup low-fat or nonfat sour cream

  • ½ cup milk

  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

  • 1½ teaspoons garlic salt, for more depth of flavor

  • ¾ teaspoon black pepper, adjust to taste

  • 1½ teaspoons onion powder, slightly more for added savoriness

  • 1–2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped, for a brighter, fresher taste

  • Juice of one medium lemon, to taste

Instructions

Step 1

In a glass bowl or a large 4-cup measuring cup, whisk together the milk and apple cider vinegar. Let it sit for 3–5 minutes to create a tangy buttermilk base.

Step 2

Add the sour cream, garlic salt, pepper, onion powder, and fresh dill to the buttermilk. Whisk until smooth and well combined.

Step 3

Slowly add lemon juice, tasting as you go, until the desired tanginess and consistency are achieved. (For a thinner dressing, use all the lemon juice.)

Step 4

Transfer to a serving container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Stir before serving.
