Salmon Sandwich with Bacon Jam

A refined yet hearty sandwich that layers perfectly seared salmon with a rich, sweet-savory bacon jam—all tucked into a toasted brioche bun. It’s a lovely choice for entertaining or a chic weekday lunch.

Ingredients
• 4 salmon fillets
• 1 butter lettuce
• 1-2 large tomatoes
• 4 Brioche buns
Instructions
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. season each fillets well with salt and pepper
Heat olive oil in a large cast-iron skillet or non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the salmon fillets. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the salmon cooked through. The fish should flake easily with a fork.
While the salmon is cooking, lightly toast the burger buns in a toaster or on a grill for added texture and flavor.
Add the lettuce, and tomato, to the bottom bun. Place a blackened salmon fillet and top it with the bacon jam with caramelized onions.
