Whether baked, grilled, or cooked in a hot skillet, it yields flatbreads with a tender interior and just the right bit of chew. Ingredients


  • 2 cups all-purpose flour, 250g

  • 3/4 cup warm water, 180ml, about 110°F / 43°C

  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil



Instructions


Step 1

In a medium bowl, mix flour, yeast, and salt.


Step 2

Stir in warm water and olive oil until a shaggy dough forms. Knead briefly (2–3 minutes) until smooth.


Step 3

Cover with a towel and let rest 20-30 minutes.
