Watermelon Feta Bites


These elegant watermelon and feta bites are the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and refreshing flavors. Juicy watermelon slices are topped with creamy feta, drizzled with olive oil, and finished with fresh mint for a bright and summery appetizer. A sprinkle of cracked black pepper adds a touch of contrast, making them ideal for a light snack or an impressive party dish.

Ingredients


  • 1 small seedless watermelon

  • 1 block of feta cheese

  • Fresh mint leaves


  • olive oil

  • Salt and pepper



Instructions


Step 1

Slice off the top and bottom of the watermelon to create a stable base.


Step 2

Stand the watermelon up and slice straight down on all four sides to remove the rind.


Step 3

Turn the watermelon on its side and slice it into ½-inch thick sheets


Step 4

Keep the layers stacked and cut lengthwise into long, even strips.


Step 5

Make one or two cuts crosswise to create evenly sized rectangles.


Step 6

Slice the feta into thin sheets, then cut them into pieces that match the size of your watermelon bites. Place a piece of feta on top of each watermelon rectangle.


Step 7

Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and top with a fresh mint leaf for a burst of flavor.
