Whipped Maple Cinnamon Butter

ree

Whipped maple cinnamon butter might just be the easiest way to make anything taste like fall. It’s sweet, creamy, and lightly spiced with cinnamon — the kind of spread that turns even the simplest toast or pancake into something special. I love serving it with warm biscuits, banana bread, or just a slice of good crusty bread. It keeps beautifully in the fridge, so you can make it ahead and have a little jar of cozy flavor ready whenever you need it.

Yields

1/2 cup

Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened, 1 stick, or vegan butter

1 1/2 tbsp pure maple syrup, or to taste

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, or to taste

  1/4 tsp vanilla extract, optional

  pinch of salt

Instructions

Whip the butter:

  1. Add softened butter to a mixing bowl. Use a hand mixer or stand mixer to whip until light and fluffy, about 1–2 minutes.

    Add flavorings:

  2. Add maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla (if using), and a pinch of salt. Whip again for another 30–60 seconds until well combined and airy.

    Taste & adjust:

  3. Add more maple or cinnamon if desired, and whip briefly again.

    Store or serve:

  4. Transfer to a ramekin or airtight jar. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week. Let sit at room temp for 5–10 minutes before serving for spreadability.
